Come and share Midsummer's Eve with us...and Mozart
Here's an invitation you surely wouldn't want to refuse - a glorious Midsummer's Evening, wonderful music, an interval glass of wine all in the superb light and vibrant surroundings of the renovated Wakefield Cathedral.
Our summer concert 'Magical Mozart on Midsummer's Day' features the Coronation Mass, Solemn Vespers and Exsultate Jubilate which will of course feature the choir, under the dynamic direction of Dr Andrew Padmore with the Amici Ensemble and Rhiannon Beck as Soprano Soloist.
In a move away from our normal concert structure, the concert will also feature a solo instrumentalist. Niklas Duckworth will be playing Mozart's 20th Piano Concerto, a popular and refreshing work which will add further verve and variety to an already inspiring evening.
Why not determine now to come and enjoy the evening with us. Order your ticket through this website or one of the other sales outlets. Just a reminder the concert is:
Saturday Evening 21st June at 7.30pm in Wakefield Cathedral 'Magical Mozart on Midsummer's Day'.
We hope to welcome you there!
